Path of the Abyss is a RPG video game. You explore dungeons expressed in black-and-white pen drawings with your freely customized character and aim for the deepest level. You can pause at any time so analyze your enemy’s attacks, buff your allies, intercept enemy attacks and deploy a wide range of tactics to gain an advantage. You will be able to see what the enemy intends on doing. It is important to react with the appropriate skills. Pause and see how the enemy intends to attack. Choose the appropriate skills. Skills you want to use in combat will be set into the “Formation Panel” formed by 9 panels, prior to combat. The outcome of combat will be affected greatly by the skills and the position of the skills you place on the Formation Panel. The Formation Panel will be shared by the party, a unique feature of this game is to come up with ways to use the limited number panels you have. You build the party by setting up skills of the characters into the Formation Panel. Some skills have synergistic effects, and the Formation Panel should be set up so that the skills complement each other. In a forgotten ruin that has been robbed countless times, sightings of terrifying monsters became frequent. Some scoffed at the sightings as mere rumors, and ventured into the ruins to boast of their intrepidity, only to never return.
