About This Game:
Army Men: World War is a military tactics game that places the familiar Green and Tan plastic armies into battles heavily inspired by World War II. The PC version uses a real-time tactical format, with Green soldiers fighting through beaches, jungles, ruined cities, and other war-torn environments during a campaign against the Tan army.

Compared with the more playful household environments used by several other Army Men games, World War adopts a more serious military presentation. Soldiers, machine guns, explosives, vehicles, defensive positions, and battlefield objectives are designed to resemble conventional wartime operations while keeping the series’ plastic army theme.

How the Gameplay Works
Players command Green Army forces across real-time missions that require squads to move through hostile territory and complete specific objectives. Different soldiers and weapons can be used depending on the situation, with battles involving direct firefights, defensive positions, enemy emplacements, and larger combat encounters.

The PC campaign contains fifteen missions covering several battlefield environments. Separate Battle options allow individual scenarios to be played outside the main campaign, while multiplayer uses dedicated maps for additional engagements against other players.
