About This Game:
Blaster Master Zero 2 takes Jason and Eve beyond Earth after the events of the first game. With Eve affected by mutant corruption, the pair travel through space seeking a possible cure while meeting new pilots and exploring multiple planets.
The sequel expands the original formula into an interplanetary adventure while retaining the mix of vehicle-based platforming and top-down character exploration.
How the Gameplay Works
Jason pilots the G-SOPHIA tank across side-view stages, fighting enemies and using upgrades to overcome terrain. Entering buildings and smaller areas switches to top-down action where Jason fights on foot.
The vehicle’s Gaia System can recover energy when landing correctly after a fall, encouraging players to use jumps strategically. A space map connects planets and smaller planetoids containing upgrades, optional challenges, and encounters with other Metal Attacker pilots.
