About This Game:
Blaster Master Zero is a retro-inspired action adventure that reimagines the original Blaster Master concept. It follows Jason Frudnick after he discovers a strange creature named Fred and follows it into a vast underground world filled with mutants and advanced technology.

Jason discovers the combat vehicle SOPHIA III and begins exploring underground sectors while searching for Fred and learning more about the mutant threat.

How the Gameplay Works
Most large areas are explored from a side-scrolling perspective while Jason pilots SOPHIA III. The vehicle can jump, fire in several directions, and gain upgrades that provide new movement and combat abilities.

Jason can exit the tank to enter doors and passages too small for SOPHIA. These sections switch to a top-down view with separate weapons and mechanics, creating two connected styles of exploration and combat.
