About This Game:
Dynasty Warriors 6 retells the large-scale conflicts of China’s Three Kingdoms era through exaggerated battlefield action. Players choose from famous officers belonging to Wei, Wu, Shu, and other forces, then charge into battles containing hundreds of ordinary soldiers and powerful enemy commanders.
The game significantly redesigns many characters and introduces the Renbu combat system, allowing attacks to become longer and more powerful as momentum builds. Large battlefields contain forts, siege weapons, rivers, ladders, horses, and changing objectives that make each confrontation more than a simple rush toward the enemy commander.
How the Gameplay Works
Players fight large groups using normal attacks, power attacks, Musou abilities, and character-specific weapons. Maintaining successful combat raises the Renbu level, expanding available attack chains until the player takes too much damage or remains inactive for too long.
Battlefield objectives include capturing bases, protecting allied officers, breaking through gates, participating in sieges, and defeating important enemy generals. Horses provide faster movement across large maps, while character progression improves statistics and unlocks additional abilities.
