Postal 2 Complete is an open-world first-person action game built around a week in the life of the Postal Dude. Each day begins with ordinary errands such as buying groceries or completing other simple tasks, but the player is free to approach the town and its inhabitants in peaceful, chaotic, or completely destructive ways.
The game is deliberately satirical and exaggerated, with strange characters, unpredictable events, and a large sandbox that reacts to the player’s behavior. The Complete package expands the original experience with additional content from later releases.
How the Gameplay Works
Players explore the town from a first-person perspective and complete daily errands in almost any order. Objectives can sometimes be finished without violence, but the game also provides firearms, melee weapons, throwable items, and environmental interactions for players who choose a more destructive approach.
NPC reactions and law enforcement can turn simple situations into much larger confrontations. New areas become available as the week progresses, while inventory items and weapons can be collected throughout the world. The open structure allows considerable freedom between required objectives.
