About This Game:
Men of Valor is a first-person military shooter set during the Vietnam War. Players follow U.S. Marine Dean Shepard through combat operations involving jungle patrols, villages, military bases, urban environments, and several major engagements inspired by the conflict.
The game places emphasis on fighting alongside a squad rather than presenting the player as an unstoppable lone soldier. Incoming fire is dangerous, enemies frequently use cover and vegetation, and battles often unfold around friendly troops carrying out the same larger objective.
How the Gameplay Works
Players use rifles, machine guns, shotguns, pistols, grenades, and other period weapons while advancing through mission objectives. Taking damage can cause bleeding, requiring wounds to be treated before health continues to fall.
Friendly soldiers fight alongside the player during many missions, providing supporting fire and helping create larger battlefield encounters. Jungle terrain and hidden enemy positions make awareness especially important, while missions shift between patrols, assaults, defensive situations, and urban fighting.
