The Talos Principle: Gold Edition is a philosophical first-person puzzle game in which an artificial being awakens inside a world of ancient ruins and advanced technology. Guided by a mysterious voice calling itself Elohim, the player is instructed to solve trials and collect sigils while gradually questioning the nature of the world and their own existence.
The Gold Edition combines the main game with additional content, including the Road to Gehenna expansion. Its puzzles and optional computer terminals are connected by themes involving consciousness, artificial intelligence, philosophy, and humanity.
How the Gameplay Works
Players solve spatial puzzles using tools such as jammers, connector beams, movable cubes, fans, recording devices, and other mechanisms. Each tool follows consistent rules that can be combined into increasingly elaborate solutions.
