About This Game:
A Rose in the Twilight is a dark puzzle-platformer about a young girl trapped inside a ruined castle. She carries a mysterious rose that lets her absorb and transfer blood, which in turn controls the flow of time in certain objects.
The game mixes gothic atmosphere with environmental puzzles and frequent death. A giant companion can protect the girl and manipulate heavy objects that she cannot move alone.
How the Gameplay Works
Players walk and jump through castle rooms, drain blood from objects to freeze them in time, restore blood to make them move again, and command the giant to lift or carry objects. Hazards can kill the girl instantly.
Progression opens increasingly complex puzzle setups involving falling platforms, machinery, and sacrifice. Story details are revealed through blood memories and environmental scenes rather than long dialogue sequences.
