AI War 2 is a large-scale strategy game about leading the remains of humanity against an artificial intelligence that has already conquered most of the galaxy. The AI possesses overwhelming resources, so direct expansion can be dangerous because every captured world risks attracting more attention and increasing the enemy’s response.
Instead of conquering every planet indiscriminately, players select targets that provide useful fleets, technologies, defensive positions, or strategic opportunities. The result is an asymmetric war where becoming stronger without making the AI too aggressive is a central part of long-term planning.
How the Gameplay Works
Players command fleets across connected star systems, capture selected planets, establish defenses, and destroy valuable AI installations. Most individual ships are grouped into fleets, allowing large battles to be controlled without issuing orders to every vessel separately.
Destroying certain targets raises AI Progress, gradually increasing the enemy’s strength. Hacking can steal technology or manipulate systems, while neutral and hostile factions introduce additional opportunities and threats across the galaxy.
