About This Game:
Boogeyman 2 is a first-person survival horror game about a child awakened during the night by a strange doll that warns of a monster coming to take her away. Trapped in a dark bedroom, the player must remain alert as the Boogeyman searches for opportunities to approach from the surrounding darkness.
The game builds tension from limited visibility and the need to watch several possible entry points at once. A flashlight provides protection, but its limited battery prevents players from simply keeping every part of the room illuminated continuously.
How the Gameplay Works
Players remain inside the bedroom and watch doors, vents, windows, and other dark areas for signs that the Boogeyman is approaching. Shining the flashlight at the correct place can force the creature back before it reaches the player.
Battery power must be carefully conserved throughout the night, requiring players to use light only when necessary. Audio cues become extremely important because sounds can reveal where a threat is coming from before it becomes clearly visible.
