About This Game:
Brutal Legend is a heavy-metal-themed action adventure starring roadie Eddie Riggs, who is transported into a fantasy world inspired by album artwork, stage shows, mythology, and metal music. Eddie joins a rebellion against demonic rulers and uses his knowledge of rock performances and equipment to help build an army.
The game mixes third-person melee combat and open-world driving with large battles influenced by real-time strategy. Its world is filled with exaggerated landmarks, side activities, collectibles, legendary musicians, and a soundtrack built around numerous metal bands.
How the Gameplay Works
Eddie fights using a large axe and a magical guitar capable of performing special attacks. He can also summon and drive the Deuce, a customizable hot rod used to travel between missions and attack enemies on the road.
Stage Battles expand combat into army management, where players capture resource points, construct a stage, summon different units, and personally fight alongside them. Eddie can issue orders from the battlefield while using special team-up abilities with individual troop types.
