About This Game:
BURIED STARS is a mystery visual novel set after the collapse of a live television audition stage traps several contestants and staff members beneath the wreckage. While waiting for rescue, tension rises as suspicious events suggest that the disaster may not be the only danger facing the survivors.
The story examines celebrity culture, social media, public pressure, trust, and the relationships between the trapped characters. Conversations and information gathered throughout the crisis determine how the mystery develops.
How the Gameplay Works
Players investigate available areas, talk with survivors, review discovered clues, and communicate through an in-game social media service. Choosing conversation topics affects relationships and may reveal additional details about each character.
Important decisions can change later events and lead toward different conclusions. Replaying the story with different choices allows players to uncover alternative scenes and endings.
