About This Game:
Calyx is a real-time strategy game about defending a remote mining operation from an aggressive alien plant species. What begins as a resource outpost quickly becomes a military position as the Calyx spreads through the environment and threatens to overwhelm anything left unprotected.

Players construct walls, defensive weapons, industrial facilities, and military units while carefully controlling the outpost’s power network. Defensive preparation is important, but allowing the alien growth to spread unchecked can make later battles much harder, encouraging proactive attacks as well.

How the Gameplay Works:
You establish a base, mine resources, and connect facilities that provide power or useful bonuses. Walls and turrets can secure important areas while mobile forces such as tanks and artillery push beyond the perimeter to destroy expanding Calyx growth.

Research points unlock new technology, advanced structures, and stronger military options. Players must decide whether to invest heavily in a fortified position or maintain a more mobile army capable of attacking the infestation before it becomes too powerful.
