About This Game:
Creatura is a virtual ecosystem and genetics simulation that allows players to design habitats and observe populations of plants and animals develop over many generations. Rather than managing a city or commanding units, the focus is on creating environmental conditions where evolving life can survive and reproduce.
Genetic traits can pass between generations and mutate, producing changes in appearance and characteristics. Players can intervene directly through breeding and environmental design or simply observe how populations adapt over time.
How the Gameplay Works
Players construct a vivarium, shape terrain, place environmental objects, introduce species, and provide conditions such as suitable food and climate. Organisms reproduce according to inherited genetic information, allowing selected traits to become more common through controlled breeding.
