About This Game:
Defunct is a movement-focused adventure about a broken robot that accidentally falls from a massive cargo ship onto a post-human Earth. With the ship continuing on without him, the small robot must race across the unusual world and find a way to catch up.

The game places speed and flow at the center of exploration rather than traditional combat. Hills, ramps, valleys, and mechanical structures become opportunities to build momentum and travel through environments as smoothly as possible.

How the Gameplay Works
Players control the robot across 3D landscapes and use a special gravitational engine to change how strongly it is pulled toward the ground. Increasing gravity while traveling downhill builds speed, while reducing it at the right moment helps preserve momentum when climbing upward.

Jumping, boosting, and carefully reading the terrain allow increasingly long movement chains. Optional collectibles and time-focused challenges encourage players to revisit environments and find more efficient routes.
