About This Game:
Dig Island is a survival and exploration game that begins after a plane crash leaves you stranded on a tropical island. Another survivor has already spent years there and provides some early guidance, but escaping ultimately depends on exploring the island and uncovering what lies beneath its surface.
Digging is much more than a side activity. Valuable materials become increasingly common at greater depths, encouraging players to take risks while managing energy, health, hunger, and the resources required to return safely to the surface.
How the Gameplay Works:
You begin by collecting basic materials close to the surface and completing tasks that introduce the island’s survival systems. Digging consumes energy, so long expeditions require food, supplies, and careful planning before heading underground.
Deeper layers contain better resources but also create greater danger if supplies run low. Materials can help improve your situation above ground, while exploration and objectives gradually reveal more about earlier survivors and the mystery surrounding the island.
