Diplomacy is Not an Option is a real-time strategy and city-defense game built around surviving enormous attacking armies. Players rule a struggling medieval territory where rebellious peasants, undead forces, and other enemies can send thousands of units toward a settlement that must continue producing resources while preparing for siege after siege.
The game combines economy management with large-scale defensive warfare. Building an impressive army is not enough because soldiers require food, population space, weapons, and a functioning settlement capable of replacing losses.
How the Gameplay Works
Players assign workers to gather wood, stone, iron, and food before constructing houses, workshops, military buildings, walls, gates, and towers. Scouts and soldiers explore the map while defenses are positioned around likely attack routes.
Enemy waves can contain huge numbers of units, making walls, siege engines, archers, and carefully positioned troops essential. Magic provides emergency battlefield abilities, while the physical simulation causes projectiles and bodies to interact directly with units and structures.
