Dungeon Munchies is a side-scrolling action RPG where players hunt monsters, cook their remains, and use meals to gain permanent abilities. The story follows a revived undead protagonist working under the necromancer Simmer while trying to understand a bizarre underground facility.
The cooking system is central to character building. Different monster ingredients provide abilities, resistances, movement options, or combat bonuses, and only a limited number can be equipped at once through prepared dishes.
