Fae Tactics is a turn-based strategy RPG set in a world where magic and human civilization collided after barriers between dimensions were broken. Players follow Peony, a young magic user who travels across the land meeting unusual characters and becoming involved in conflicts between humans and magical creatures known as Fae.
The game combines colorful pixel art with tactical battles where summoned creatures, elemental strengths, and positioning are important. A relatively streamlined interface keeps attention on battlefield decisions rather than large numbers of menus.
How the Gameplay Works
Battles take place on grid-based maps where Peony and allied units move, attack, defend, or use special abilities during their turns. Different elements interact with one another, giving particular units advantages or disadvantages against certain enemies.
Fae creatures can be collected and summoned into battle, allowing the available team to grow throughout the adventure. Equipment and upgrades provide additional customization while story missions introduce new terrain, enemies, and tactical challenges.
