About This Game:
FlatOut is an arcade racing game built around aggressive driving, vehicle damage, dirt tracks, and spectacular crashes. Races take place across rough environments where fences, tires, barrels, signs, and other trackside objects can be smashed apart as cars fight for position.
Unlike clean circuit racing, contact between vehicles is expected and often encouraged. Cars become visibly damaged during events, while loose surfaces and environmental debris make every lap less predictable. Additional stunt and demolition activities provide a break from standard races.
How the Gameplay Works
Players race against opponents on circuits containing dirt, asphalt, jumps, sharp corners, and destructible objects. Vehicle handling has a strong arcade influence but still rewards controlling slides and avoiding crashes that can cost too much speed. Collisions can damage both the player’s car and competing vehicles.
Money earned from events can be used to improve vehicles and remain competitive as races become harder. Demolition competitions focus on surviving heavy collisions, while stunt events use the game’s exaggerated driver physics for unusual challenges that have little to do with reaching a finish line first.
