About This Game:
Galaxy Squad is a turn-based tactical roguelike where players command a group of mercenaries traveling through a procedurally generated galaxy. The squad takes contracts, explores planets and ships, fights hostile factions, gathers equipment, and upgrades its vessel while deciding where to travel next.
Each crew member can be developed with different weapons, armor, skills, implants, and combat roles. Procedural missions are combined with story elements and faction interactions, making each campaign a mixture of tactical battles and larger strategic decisions.
How the Gameplay Works
Combat takes place on grid-based maps where squad members spend action points to move, fire weapons, use abilities, or interact with the environment. Cover and positioning are important when facing enemies equipped with ranged weapons.
Between missions, players travel on a galactic map, purchase supplies, upgrade the ship, recruit additional characters, and select contracts. Equipment and skill choices allow soldiers to specialize in particular battlefield roles as the campaign continues.
