Ghost of a Tale is a third-person adventure RPG starring Tilo, a small mouse minstrel imprisoned inside a fortress controlled by rats. Searching for his missing wife, Tilo explores the keep, speaks with its residents, uncovers secrets, and tries to survive without becoming a traditional warrior.
The game emphasizes stealth, exploration, disguise, and character interaction. Tilo is physically weak compared with most guards, so avoiding direct confrontation and understanding patrol routes is usually safer than fighting.
How the Gameplay Works
Players sneak through corridors, hide in containers, extinguish lights, distract guards, climb, collect keys, and wear disguises that change how certain characters react. Quests often require finding objects, learning information, or reaching restricted rooms.
