About This Game:
Heaven’s Vault is a narrative archaeology adventure about historian Aliya Elasra and her robot companion Six. They travel through a network of moons known as the Nebula while investigating the disappearance of a scholar and uncovering remnants of an ancient civilization.
The game’s central idea is translating a lost language. Ancient inscriptions are discovered on ruins and artifacts, and players gradually build an understanding of recurring symbols without being given a simple dictionary or guaranteed correct answer.
How the Gameplay Works
Aliya explores archaeological locations, examines objects, questions characters, and chooses where to travel next. When an inscription is found, players compare symbols with previously translated words and propose meanings based on context and linguistic patterns.
Translations can later be confirmed or disproved as new examples are discovered. Conversations also contain choices, and characters remember Aliya’s behavior. The investigation is nonlinear, allowing locations and historical discoveries to be approached in different sequences.
