I’m on Observation Duty 8 continues the psychological horror series built around staring closely at surveillance feeds and identifying anything that should not be there. As an employee of a mysterious organization, the player monitors apparently ordinary locations where objects can move, disappear, change shape, or be joined by something much more threatening.
Six different levels provide new environments to memorize. The tension comes from never knowing whether the next anomaly will be an almost invisible change in furniture or an obvious intruder appearing directly in front of a camera.
How the Gameplay Works
Players continuously switch between security cameras and compare the current environment with how it looked earlier in the night. When a change is spotted, the correct location and anomaly type must be reported.
Correct reports remove anomalies, but allowing too many to remain unnoticed can end the shift. Success therefore depends on memory, concentration, and carefully checking every camera until the required surveillance period is completed.
