Inscryption is a dark card-based adventure that begins with the player trapped in a mysterious cabin and forced to participate in a strange game. Card battles revolve around summoning creatures, sacrificing cards, managing limited board spaces, and dealing enough damage to overwhelm an opponent. Between matches, players move through map events, obtain new cards, modify their deck, and investigate the surroundings. Cabin puzzles reveal additional tools and secrets that influence future runs.
