Interstellar Space: Genesis is a turn-based 4X strategy game centered on exploring an unknown galaxy and building an interstellar civilization. Players select a faction, discover star systems, establish colonies, research technology, conduct diplomacy, design fleets, and compete with rival powers for control of valuable territory.
The game takes inspiration from classic space strategy while offering detailed planetary development and empire management. Different species, technologies, government choices, and strategic situations allow campaigns to develop in very different directions depending on how aggressively or peacefully an empire expands.
How the Gameplay Works
Each turn allows players to move ships, scout unexplored systems, manage colonies, adjust production, conduct research, and interact with other civilizations. Planets vary in quality and resources, making colonization decisions important as an empire grows across greater distances.
Warships can be customized with different weapons, defenses, engines, and specialized systems before being sent into tactical space battles. Diplomacy, espionage, technological development, and military expansion all provide different tools for dealing with competing empires and pursuing victory.
