About This Game:
Iris Fall is a puzzle adventure built around the relationship between light and shadow. A young girl named Iris follows a mysterious black cat into an abandoned theater, where strange machines, puppets, projections, and impossible spaces gradually blur the difference between reality and illusion.
The game uses a mostly monochrome visual style inspired by shadow theater and hand-drawn illustration. Its puzzles repeatedly ask players to think about how three-dimensional objects appear when converted into shadows.
How the Gameplay Works
Players explore fixed environments, collect useful objects, operate machinery, and solve visual or mechanical puzzles. Light sources can alter the shape and position of shadows, creating paths or revealing relationships that are not obvious from the physical environment alone.
At certain points, Iris can move between the normal world and shadow surfaces. This ability changes how areas can be navigated and forms the basis of many of the game’s more unusual puzzles.
