About This Game:
Islanders is a minimalist city-building puzzle game that removes much of the resource management found in traditional city simulators. Instead of managing money, workers, traffic, or production chains, players place buildings on small procedurally generated islands and try to earn enough points to continue expanding.

Every structure scores according to what is nearby. Some buildings benefit from being clustered together, while others lose points if placed near incompatible structures. The result is a relaxed-looking game that gradually becomes a careful spatial puzzle as available land disappears.

How the Gameplay Works
Players choose between sets of buildings and then place each structure anywhere it will fit. Before placement, the game shows how many points the building will earn based on nearby objects, terrain, and other structures.

Reaching score thresholds unlocks additional building packs and eventually allows movement to a new island. There is no construction timer or conventional economy, so the challenge comes entirely from using limited space efficiently and planning combinations that produce higher scores.
