About This Game:
Pathway is a tactical adventure set during the 1930s, combining pulpy archaeology, secret expeditions, occult mysteries, and battles against Nazi forces. Players assemble a team of adventurers and travel through procedurally arranged maps while searching for artifacts, rescuing allies, and confronting supernatural threats.

The game is structured around repeatable expeditions rather than one continuous linear campaign. Different characters, events, routes, loot, and encounters can appear between attempts, while heroes retain experience and become more capable over time.

How the Gameplay Works
On the travel map, players move between connected locations while managing fuel and deciding which route to take. Events may lead to treasure, traders, story decisions, hazards, or turn-based battles.

Combat takes place on compact grid-based arenas where cover, movement range, weapon distance, healing, and special abilities determine each turn. Characters can use different weapon classes and equipment, while injuries or deaths can force the player to change the party during future expeditions.
