Isle of Arrows is a tower-defense roguelike built around drawing random tiles and expanding a small island one piece at a time. Instead of placing towers freely on a fixed map, players construct the enemy path, economy, and defenses from the limited tiles offered each turn.
The tile system makes every run different. A strong defense depends on deciding where to extend the road, when to add towers, and how much space to reserve for future pieces.
How the Gameplay Works
Players place path tiles, towers, traps, gardens, and support structures while preparing for enemy waves. Coins and special resources allow limited rerolls or additional placements.
Each wave tests the layout that has been built so far, and poor early placement can create major problems later. Different factions or game modes modify the available tiles and rules, giving repeated runs new strategic constraints. Because tower-defense roguelike, random tile placement, and player-built enemy path remain useful throughout the game, the player can keep building on what was learned early on. towers, traps, and support buildings introduces additional pressure without making the original mechanics irrelevant, so later progression feels more like mastery than a complete reset of the rules.
