Killing Floor: Incursion brings the series’ violent creature combat into virtual reality with a story-driven first-person campaign. Players enter a simulation connected to Horzine’s experiments and fight through environments filled with familiar Zeds while attempting to understand why the system has begun behaving unpredictably.
Unlike the original Killing Floor’s primarily wave-based structure, Incursion combines exploration, combat, puzzles, and scripted story sequences. Firearms and melee weapons are handled directly through VR motion controls, making actions such as aiming, reloading, striking, and throwing more physical.
How the Gameplay Works
Players physically aim pistols, rifles, shotguns, and other weapons while using motion controls to interact with equipment and the surrounding environment. Melee weapons can be swung directly, while grenades and other objects can be grabbed and thrown.
The campaign moves through several locations and can be played alone or cooperatively. A separate Holdout-style mode concentrates more heavily on surviving waves of enemies, giving players an alternative to the narrative-focused missions.
