About This Game:
Late Shift is an interactive live-action crime thriller in which player decisions determine how the movie develops. The story follows mathematics student Matt, whose night working at a parking garage unexpectedly pulls him into a robbery involving a valuable Chinese artifact.

The entire presentation uses filmed actors and locations rather than traditional computer-generated gameplay. Choices are integrated directly into scenes so that the story continues moving even when the player has only a short period to decide what Matt should do.

How the Gameplay Works
At key moments, several choices appear on screen and players select one before the timer expires. Decisions can affect conversations, relationships, routes through the story, and which characters remain involved in later events.

There are no traditional action controls or exploration sections; gameplay consists almost entirely of making narrative decisions. Replaying the film and choosing different responses can uncover new scenes and lead to several different endings.
