Turbo Overkill is a fast first-person shooter inspired by classic arena shooters and cyberpunk action games. Players control Johnny Turbo, a heavily augmented mercenary returning to the city of Paradise to fight gangs, mutated enemies, machines, and the powerful artificial intelligence controlling the city.
The game emphasizes extreme movement speed and aggressive combat. Johnny’s cybernetic enhancements include a chainsaw built into his leg, turning sliding directly through enemies into one of the game’s signature attacks.
How the Gameplay Works
Players sprint, dash, wall-run, double-jump, slide, grapple, and launch through large combat arenas while switching between powerful firearms. Remaining mobile is essential because enemies attack in large groups and many encounters are designed around constant movement.
