About This Game:
Kingdom Rush is a fantasy tower defense game about protecting the Kingdom of Linirea from an invasion led by the dark wizard Vez’nan. The campaign moves through forests, mountains, wastelands, and other regions while increasingly dangerous enemies attempt to follow fixed routes toward the player’s defenses.
Its simple tower-building foundation gradually develops into a much deeper strategy game through specialized upgrades, active spells, controllable heroes, reinforcements, and enemies with different resistances and abilities. Choosing where to spend limited gold becomes increasingly important as each stage grows more demanding.
How the Gameplay Works
Players construct towers on predetermined building locations beside enemy paths. Basic defenses include archers, barracks, mages, and artillery, with each type serving a different purpose. Towers can be upgraded several times and eventually developed into powerful specializations with additional abilities.
Heroes move directly around the battlefield and can help block or damage enemies at important locations. Reinforcements can temporarily hold enemies in place, while offensive spells provide emergency firepower when defenses become overwhelmed. Completing stages awards upgrade points that strengthen towers and battlefield abilities.
