About This Game:
Kingdom Rush Origins is a prequel that explores an earlier period of the Kingdom Rush world with a stronger focus on elves and ancient magic. The campaign travels through enchanted forests, faery lands, ruins, and other fantasy environments while elven armies fight Gnolls, giant spiders, Twilight forces, and several larger threats.
Although it retains the tower defense structure of the earlier games, Origins introduces a completely different collection of towers, heroes, enemies, abilities, and environmental interactions. Elven archers, mystical spellcasters, druids, and infantry replace many familiar defenses from the original campaign.
How the Gameplay Works
Enemy waves travel along marked paths while players spend gold on defensive towers positioned beside them. Each tower can be upgraded into specialized forms with powerful abilities, allowing defenses to be adjusted against heavily armored enemies, large groups, flying units, and other threats.
Heroes can move around each stage and use unique powers during combat, while lightning attacks and reinforcements provide additional support. Maps also contain special environmental features that can influence battles. After completing campaign stages, Heroic and Iron challenges provide harder versions of existing encounters.
