LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars combines the humor and cooperative action of the LEGO series with characters and events inspired by Star Wars: The Clone Wars. Players control Jedi, clone troopers, droids, bounty hunters, and other characters while traveling through battles and locations connected to the animated series.
The game expands the traditional LEGO formula with larger battlefield sequences where groups of units and vehicles fight for control of strategic positions. Familiar story missions remain alongside free-play exploration, character collecting, puzzle solving, and the lighthearted visual comedy associated with LEGO adaptations.
How the Gameplay Works
Players fight enemies, break LEGO objects, collect studs, build useful structures, and switch between characters with different abilities. Jedi can use lightsabers and the Force, while clone troopers and other characters provide firearms or specialized equipment required for certain puzzles.
Large ground battles allow players to capture areas and construct vehicles or support structures before attacking enemy positions. Completing story levels unlocks characters and content that can be revisited in Free Play, where abilities from different characters allow previously inaccessible collectibles to be reached.
