Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime is a cooperative space action game where several players share control of a single round spaceship. Instead of assigning one permanent role to each person, the crew runs between stations to operate weapons, shields, engines, and other systems as conditions change.
The colorful presentation hides a demanding coordination game in which even a powerful ship can quickly fail if the crew does not communicate.
How the Gameplay Works
Each player moves freely inside the spacecraft and takes control of whichever station is currently needed. One person may steer while another fires a cannon, but both might need to abandon those posts moments later to reposition the shield or operate a stronger weapon.
Levels involve exploring space, rescuing captured creatures, collecting upgrades, and defeating enemies. Ship layouts and equipment can be improved as the campaign progresses.
