About This Game:
Mega Man X8 is a side-scrolling action game starring X, Zero, and Axl as they investigate a crisis involving new-generation Reploids and a project linked to the orbital elevator Jakob.

The game returns to a more traditional 2.5D stage structure while allowing two characters to be selected for a mission and switched during play.

How the Gameplay Works
X uses ranged weapons, Zero specializes in melee combat, and Axl uses rapid-fire guns and copying abilities. Players run, jump, dash, wall-climb, switch characters, and use team attacks.

Defeating Mavericks unlocks new weapons or techniques, while collected metals can be spent on upgrades and equipment. Hidden armor pieces and alternate routes reward exploration.
