About This Game:
Oddworld: New ‘n’ Tasty is a complete remake of Oddworld: Abe’s Oddysee. It follows Abe, a Mudokon worker who discovers that the owners of RuptureFarms plan to turn their own workforce into a new food product. After escaping, Abe decides to return and rescue as many fellow Mudokons as possible.
The game combines dark humor with dangerous platforming, stealth, puzzles, and an unusual communication system used to guide other characters through hostile environments.
How the Gameplay Works
Abe cannot defeat most enemies through ordinary combat, so players rely on sneaking, environmental traps, timing, and possession abilities. Chanting allows Abe to take control of certain enemies and use their weapons or movement to clear a safe route.
Mudokons can be instructed through GameSpeak commands and must be escorted toward portals. Saving or losing workers affects overall progress and contributes to which ending the player receives.
