About This Game:
OTXO is a top-down roguelite shooter set inside a mysterious mansion where the protagonist enters to rescue a loved one. The game uses a stark black, white, and red visual style and combines extremely fast gunfights with a powerful slow-motion mechanic.
Each run rearranges rooms, enemies, weapons, and upgrades, turning the mansion into a violent maze that must be learned one section at a time. The story remains intentionally mysterious, with fragments revealed through repeated attempts.
How the Gameplay Works
Players move and aim independently, kick doors open, grab firearms, dodge bullets, and activate Focus to slow time during dangerous encounters. Weapons have limited magazines and can be discarded quickly, encouraging constant improvisation with whatever enemies drop.
Between combat sections, the player can purchase drinks that provide passive upgrades for the current run. Bosses and elite encounters demand careful Focus use, while ordinary rooms reward aggression and accurate shooting. Death resets most run progress, but new options and knowledge make later attempts more effective.
