PAC-MAN WORLD Re-PAC is a modern remake of the 1999 3D platformer where Pac-Man travels to Ghost Island after his family and friends are kidnapped. The game rebuilds the original levels with updated visuals, revised controls, and adjusted presentation.
Stages combine linear 3D platforming with classic Pac-Man references such as pellets, fruit, ghosts, mazes, and power pellets. Pac-Man’s movement includes jumps, butt bounces, rev-rolls, and attacks used for both traversal and combat.
How the Gameplay Works
Players run through themed worlds, collect pellets and letters, rescue family members, solve environmental puzzles, and fight enemies. Bonus mazes temporarily switch to a more traditional Pac-Man format.
Bosses appear at the end of major worlds and use different mechanics from normal stages. Collectibles and rescued characters reward thorough exploration, while the remake’s improved movement makes the platforming more responsive than the original PlayStation release.
