Passpartout: The Starving Artist is an art-focused simulation where players attempt to survive as a struggling painter in Paris. Instead of selecting completed pictures from a menu, every painting is created directly by the player using a simple in-game canvas and drawing tools.
The challenge comes from balancing creativity with money, because rent and other expenses continue whether the public appreciates the latest masterpiece or not.
How the Gameplay Works
