Simon the Sorcerer Origins is a hand-drawn point-and-click adventure that tells the story leading into the original Simon the Sorcerer. Set shortly before the classic 1993 game, it follows teenage Simon as he is unexpectedly transported into a magical world and becomes involved in an ancient prophecy.
The adventure retains the series’ sarcastic sense of humor while introducing a newly animated interpretation of its fantasy world. Simon meets eccentric characters, investigates a magical academy, learns spells, experiments with potions, and searches for a way to return home.
How the Gameplay Works
Players explore hand-drawn scenes, speak with characters, collect objects, and combine information to solve traditional adventure-game puzzles. Important items may need to be used in unusual ways, rewarding observation and experimentation rather than quick reactions.
