Strange Seed is a creature-evolution adventure where players begin life as a simple blob capable of absorbing DNA from other organisms. Every creature defeated can provide access to new biological parts, allowing the strange seed to gradually transform into a completely customized life-form.
More than 40 creatures provide body parts that can be mixed across seven equipment slots, creating millions of possible combinations. Different bodies are useful for different situations, so the strongest creature is not always the best choice for exploration.
How the Gameplay Works
Players explore more than ten distinct biomes while fighting creatures and collecting their DNA. Acquired parts can replace sections of the current body, changing movement, combat strength, size, mobility, and other characteristics.
Environmental obstacles encourage frequent evolution. A smaller body may fit through narrow areas, wings can make aerial routes possible, and stronger components help against dangerous enemies. Experimenting with combinations becomes the main way to overcome new challenges.
