Stubbs the Zombie in Rebel Without a Pulse is a third-person action game that reverses the usual zombie formula by putting players in control of the undead. Stubbs awakens in the retro-futuristic city of Punchbowl and begins turning its citizens into a growing zombie mob while pursuing his own strange history.
Its setting combines 1950s culture with exaggerated science fiction and dark comedy, creating a campaign filled with police officers, soldiers, civilians, vehicles, and increasingly chaotic encounters.
How the Gameplay Works
Stubbs attacks humans directly and can eat their brains to restore health. Victims rise again as allied zombies, allowing groups of undead to overwhelm armed enemies and spread through populated areas.
