The Last Faith is a dark gothic metroidvania that blends side-scrolling exploration with Soulslike combat, firearms, magic, and a story centered on memory, religion, and monstrous transformation. Players control Eryk, a man suffering from a mysterious condition as he searches through ruined cities, cathedrals, crypts, and laboratories.
The world is deliberately oppressive, drawing from gothic horror and dark fantasy. Progression depends on discovering movement abilities, stronger weapons, spells, and routes that connect previously inaccessible areas.
How the Gameplay Works
Players attack with swords, scythes, whips, firearms, and other weapons, dodge enemy strikes, use magic, and manage healing resources. Different weapons scale with different character statistics, allowing several build styles.
