YAR: Forgotten Throne is an open-world fantasy RPG set across the land of Borea, where political factions, ancient mysteries, and numerous local stories create a large adventure for the player’s chosen hero. More than a hundred quests are spread throughout settlements, wilderness regions, and other areas of the world.
Players can begin as a Warrior, Archer, or Volkhv and gradually develop that character through attributes, active abilities, passive skills, equipment, and crafting systems. Two major factions also provide different perspectives on the conflicts shaping Borea.
How the Gameplay Works
Players freely explore the world while completing main quests, side stories, and combat encounters. Each starting class favors a different approach to battle, but equipment and character progression provide additional ways to specialize the build.
Activities outside combat include fishing, cooking, alchemy, blacksmithing, jewelry making, and enchanting. Resources gathered throughout the world support these professions, while settlements provide characters, services, and additional quests.
