About This Game:
Zoo Tycoon 2 is a management simulation where players design and operate their own zoo while balancing animal welfare, visitor satisfaction, finances, staff, and expansion. Habitats can be built for different species using terrain, plants, shelters, food, toys, water, and other objects suited to each animal.

Visitors expect to see healthy animals while also having access to food, restrooms, seating, entertainment, and easy paths around the park. Successful zoos can expand with additional habitats, facilities, and attractions as new species and research become available.

How the Gameplay Works
Players construct fences and terrain before adding animals and appropriate habitat objects. Keepers care for animals, maintenance staff handle facilities, and educators help improve guest experiences while the player monitors needs and finances.

Different modes allow structured scenarios, challenge-based management, or more relaxed building. Players can also enter a first-person guest-style view and walk through the zoo, taking photographs and observing animals from ground level.
