About This Game:
Aegis Defenders is a 2D action platformer that combines exploration with tower-defense battles. The story follows Bart, his granddaughter Clu, and additional companions as they search ancient ruins for powerful technology while becoming involved in a conflict surrounding the legendary weapon known as Aegis.
Each hero has different weapons and construction abilities, encouraging players to combine character skills. The adventure alternates between platforming sections and defensive encounters where structures must be built quickly before enemy waves arrive.
How the Gameplay Works
During exploration, players jump, fight enemies, solve puzzles, gather resources, and switch between heroes. Character abilities interact with one another, allowing certain obstacles to be solved only by coordinating two different skills.
Defense sections provide a preparation period for placing turrets, blocks, and other structures before waves attack. Towers can be combined into stronger equipment, while players continue fighting directly alongside their defenses.
